I’ve made the sea my life, both professionally and personally. What began as a small dinghy-sailing adventure on the island of Mallorca has become my passion and my profession. A former member of the Spanish Olympic sailing team, in 2024 I set the world record for a solo transatlantic monohull crossing, and in 2025 I became the first Spanish woman to complete the Transat Café L’Or. Today I sail aboard a Class40 with a dream on the horizon: to one day reach the Vendée Globe, the solo, non-stop round-the-world race.

I win the Cap Pour Elles scholarship and become the first Spanish woman at the Transat Café L’Or
- I was selected, alongside Axelle Pillain, for the Cap Pour Elles 2025 scholarship, an Engie program supporting an all-female team at the Transat Café L’Or.
- We achieved 20th place overall in Class40, out of 42 entered teams, aboard the Engie – Dessine-moi la High Tech.
- I became the first Spanish woman to complete this race.
I achieve a monohull solo transatlantic sailing record
Over a 30-day crossing, representing Club de Vela Port d’Andratx, I set a milestone by establishing the new solo monohull transatlantic sailing record, departing from Cádiz for the Bahamas.
A season of offshore racing and more than 2,000 competitive miles
- Over 2,000 competitive miles with the 1063 in Spain, France and England.
- 3rd in the 100 Milles entre Îles, solo Mini 6.5.
- Exhibition of the Mini 1063 at the Palma Boat Show.
- 4th in the Giro d’Italia offshore doublehanded, 1,500 miles, Figaro 3 with Ambre Hasson.
Lots of miles and lots of boat-building
- Collection of the 1063 in Poland and first races with the boat.
- 1,000-mile solo qualifying route between France, England and Ireland.
- Presentation of the 1063 at the Palma Boat Show and exhibition of the Mini 1063 at the Barcelona Boat Show.
- 6th in the 2022 Offshore Doublehanded World Championship, Figaro 3.
- 2nd at Palma Vela inshore, Swan 42, as sailor.
- 2nd in the Non-stop Round Italy Race Doublehanded, 1,500 miles, Figaro 3 with Cecilia Zorzi.
The year I decide to leave Olympic sailing and start the Mini project
Time to learn to sail her, get to know the class, and think about how to get the most out of her.
- Start of the Mini campaign and construction of the 1063 at the shipyard.
- 4th in the 2021 Offshore Doublehanded World Championship, Figaro 3, 1,500 miles.
- 2nd at Palmavela Offshore 2021, J99, as sailor.
- 2nd at Palmavela Inshore 2021, J80.
- 4th in the 2021 Spanish Cup, Laser Radial.
The year I first step aboard a Mini
My second day on board is straight into the start of a 500-mile doublehanded race, and I fall in love with offshore sailing.
- 2020 Italy Grand Prix, Mini 6.5, with Ignasi Ticó and the boat Tur Tur.
- Participation in the European Championship of the Olympic Laser Radial class.
Years of learning and training
I combine my sporting career within the Spanish pre-Olympic team with university studies.
- Member of the Spanish Team from 2011 to 2019, participating in World and European Championships.
- Spanish Champion in 2017 and medallist in Spanish Championships and Cups from 2011 to 2019.
- 1st at the 2019 Copa del Rey and 6th at the Snipe European Championships.
- University degree in Nautical Science and Maritime Transport.
- Master’s degree in Nautical Engineering.
