Navegantes Oceánicos: Aina Bauzà, target Mini Transat 2023
Aina Bauzà Roig is one of Spain’s leading dinghy sailors in the Laser class, where she has won medals at national championships, and has also raced in classes such as Optimist and Snipe.
A graduate in Nautical Studies and Maritime Management from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, she is also a SportUniverse ambassador and a member of AMDP, the Association for Women in Professional Sport. Aina is fully committed to sailing, and the sea is an essential part of her way of life.
Around two years ago, Aina moved into ocean racing, taking part in offshore events. She then decided to embark on a new challenge: competing in the next solo transatlantic ocean race, the 2023 Mini Transat.
