Última Hora: Aina Bauzà’s countdown to the Mini Transat
There are still 121 days until the start of the 2023 Mini Transat from the French town of Les Sables-d’Olonne, but Aina Bauzà has already begun the final countdown to her great dream. On Thursday, the Mallorcan sailor presented the details of the challenge at the Club de Vela Port d’Andratx. It will mark a milestone in Balearic sporting history, as no athlete from the islands has ever taken part in the race.
Repairs and preparations aboard the Redó by Ànima Negra shape Aina Bauzà’s daily routine before she heads to France. There, she will test herself in a series of races before starting as the only Spanish sailor in the entire Mini Transat fleet.
